This was one of the first pieces made after the Bone Vessel Series. It followed the form of the Bone Vessels; a shape of which I am fond. I then added rows of Spanish point twists to open the form.

Evolution Vessel was accepted into the Small Expressions Show through the Handweavers Guild of America in 1996 and was on exhibit at the Gango Gallery in Portland, Oregon. Evolution Vessel was awarded an Honorable Mention and a picture is published in the Fall 1996 HGA Shuttle Spindle & Dyepot magazine. A copy of the magazine is included with the purchase of Evolution Vessel.
